The instant the shutter closes, Buildra writes a cryptographic seal — GPS coordinates, device clock, sealing-server clock, the user, the project, the work package — and stores the file in write-once storage. There is no edit button. There is no delete.

§ 06How it works
Five steps from shutter to signed report.
Every step is logged. Every transition has a cryptographic signature. The system explains itself.
STEP 01
Capture.
Field crew opens Buildra, points the camera, and the file is sealed before it ever leaves the phone.
STEP 02
Seal.
GPS, dual clocks, user and project are hashed into the file. Storage is write-once. Edits are impossible.
STEP 03
Review.
PMs and supers triage exhibits, flag issues, attach them to RFIs and submittals — without altering the record.
STEP 04
Close.
Milestones close when sealed evidence satisfies the close-out checklist for that work package.
STEP 05
Report.
Clients, banks and lawyers receive the report they asked for, on the cadence they agreed to.

Q · 01Is sealed evidence court admissible?
Every exhibit is anchored to a SHA-256 hash, a dual timestamp (device + signed server clock), GPS coordinates, the user and the project. Bundles export with a signed chain-of-custody manifest. Legal teams use these for arbitration and litigation today.
Q · 02What if the device is offline?
Capture works fully offline. Files are sealed at the device with a cached signed-time token, then re-anchored to the server the moment connectivity returns. No retroactive editing is possible.
Q · 03Who controls the storage?
Studio plans store evidence in regional write-once buckets (S3 Object Lock, governance mode). Counsel plans can run an on-prem vault with the same seal guarantees and notarized hourly anchoring.
Q · 04How long does setup take?
A typical project is online within a day. Onboarding is one 45-minute walkthrough with the super and PM; field crews learn capture in under five minutes.
Q · 05Do you replace our existing PM tool?
Not unless you want us to. Buildra integrates with Procore, Autodesk Build and BIM 360 — the evidence stays sealed and the report flow stays automatic.
